The Cigna Group is dedicated to improving the health and vitality of those they serve. They are seeking an intern to support the Social Media Center of Excellence by creating social media content, managing platforms, conducting advertising campaigns, and performing analytics reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to create research and content assets and supporting materials to executive social media campaigns
- Monitor day-to-day content on social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more)
- Perform social media metrics analysis and reporting
- Develop paid social advertising plans and social strategies with advertising execution
Requirements:
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus in marketing, business, communications or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Previous experience in social media and basic social content design
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business aptitude and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Emerging leadership skills demonstrated through students organizations, academic products, or community involvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Adobe Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is a plus
- Self-starter who is eager to learn and acquire new skills
