Principal Engineer — AI/ML Platform (LO-01)

David Joseph & Company is seeking a Principal Engineer for their AI/ML Platform. This role involves owning production-scale AI/ML platform systems in enterprise environments, requiring deep expertise in LLM production systems and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive production AI/ML engineering experience
• Real production LLM system ownership (not research or prototype)
• Specific experience with: RAG implementations, fine-tuning workflows, evaluation frameworks, guardrails and safety systems, model monitoring and drift detection
• Cloud and infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure, Kubernetes, distributed systems
• AI/MLOps tooling: CI/CD for ML, experiment tracking, monitoring and observability
• Team leadership: architectural ownership, multi-team influence, platform standards definition
