Role Overview
- Performs basic structural engineering tasks for electrical construction projects
- Provides guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers
- Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications
- Prepares and studies technical drawings/specifications to ensure that designs/installations conform to standards & customer requirements
- Plans layout of construction projects
- Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct structural problems
- Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis
- 4 plus years of experience
- Ability to apply principles of mechanics, mathematics, physics, material science, 3D concepts to creative problem-solving
