SNH AI is an AI startup focused on building the future of work with autonomous employees. They are seeking a People & Operations Manager to own talent acquisition, manage office operations, and enhance internal communications as the company scales.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle from intake to offer for every open role at SNH AI
- Partner with hiring managers to gather role requirements, define the ideal candidate profile, and establish comp bands in coordination with leadership
- Set up and manage relationships with external recruiters and sourcing partners; hold them accountable to pipeline quality and velocity
- Own the interview pipeline: manage candidate flow, scheduling, feedback collection, and stage progression
- Track and report on recruiting metrics such as time to fill, pipeline conversion, offer acceptance rate, source quality
- Design and continuously improve the SNH AI employee onboarding and offboarding experience
- Coordinate day-one logistics: equipment, access, workspace setup, introductions, and first-week schedule
- Serve as the primary point of contact with our PEO for benefits administration, payroll questions, compliance, and employee relations matters
- Field HR questions from employees and route them appropriately; maintain a clear, approachable internal HR presence
- Support performance management cycles. Coordinate review timelines, collect documentation, and ensure the process runs on schedule
- Work with company leaders to define and maintain career ladders and role leveling frameworks for each team at SNH AI
- Design competency frameworks that give managers clear tools to assess performance and recognize growth
- Partner with team leads to implement regular check-in rhythms, feedback processes, and growth planning conversations
- Own the cadence and logistics for quarterly reviews and any annual performance processes
- Own all internal company communications and develop a consistent communication rhythm
- Coordinate executive announcements and all-hands logistics with agendas, materials, follow-up
- Own the Austin office environment and manage recurring culture touchpoints: Friday team lunches, birthday and work anniversary recognitions, spouse and partner appreciation moments, and other team traditions
- Plan and execute internal events like quarterly reviews, hackathons, team building activities, holiday celebrations, and ad hoc team experiences
- Bring creativity and care to how we bring the team together
