Harvest Hill Beverage Company is one of the largest independent manufacturers, distributors, and marketers of juices and juice drinks in North America. They are seeking a Sr. National Account Manager to lead the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy across key dollar retail customers, focusing on identifying growth opportunities and driving profitable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the channel strategy to drive sustainable, profitable growth
- Identify white-space opportunities, distribution expansion, assortment optimization, and execution opportunities to accelerate channel performance
- Translate enterprise growth objectives into actionable commercial plans tailored to the unique dynamics of the dollar retail environment
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) and customer engagement strategies aligned with retailer priorities and category trends
- Cultivate and elevate strong relationships with key customer stakeholders across merchandising, category management, and supply chain teams
- Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between Harvest Hill and customer objectives
- Monitor and communicate retailer strategies, competitive activity, and market developments impacting the Dollar Channel
- Support customer line reviews, business reviews, and strategic planning
- Utilize syndicated and retailer data and internal analytics to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities, monitor competitive activity and category trends
- Translate insights into actionable sales strategies and high-impact presentations for both internal stakeholders and customers
- Provide regular reporting and analysis on performance, category and competition, shopper trends, forecasting, and other initiatives
- Drive distribution, assortment, promotional planning, and pricing strategies that optimize sales and profitability
- Partner with Leadership, Marketing, Supply Chain/Operations, and Revenue Management to ensure alignment across commercial initiatives
- Support the successful execution of key events including new item launches, seasonal programs, and promotional activation's
- Ensure accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and execution support to maintain strong service levels
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in CPG sales, retail merchandising, or related roles
- BS/BA degree or a combination of relevant work and educational experience
- Proven experience managing or selling into Dollar and/or other high-volume retailers, partnering with their merchandising, category, and supply chain teams
- Financial acumen, with ability to manage pricing, trade spend/deductions, and mix to optimize the P&L
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience leveraging syndicated and retailer data to drive insights into action
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, creating high-impact customer-facing presentations and sales stories
- Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel: 25%-50% depending on location and needs of the business
