Diversified USA is a global B2B events and media company that fosters business communities. They are seeking a Marketing Manager for Marine Money to develop marketing strategies, manage campaigns, and coordinate with various teams to enhance brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and own a portfolio-wide marketing strategy that presents Marine Money as a unified global brand across all 14 conferences, the digital membership, and the magazine
- Be the hands-on executor: write copy, deploy multi-channel campaigns (email, social, digital ads, direct mail, partner channels), manage the CRM, and keep websites up to date
- Build integrated marketing plans and a comprehensive calendar in collaboration with conference event teams—balancing individual event needs with the broader brand story
- Manage and develop one direct report (Event Coordinator), providing direction, feedback, and support for their growth
- Coordinate with internal teams—Web, Data Analytics, Central Marketing, Operations—to amplify campaign effectiveness and maintain alignment
- Build and manage relationships with media partners, industry associations, and vendors to drive visibility within the global marine finance community
- Monitor KPIs, market data, and budget performance to continuously refine strategy and report on results
- Stay agile—this portfolio moves fast, and you'll need to pivot and rebuild plans mid-cycle without losing momentum or quality
Requirements:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in direct marketing strategy and execution
- Background in B2B event marketing, conference marketing, or financial/professional services strongly preferred
- Experience with membership or subscription-based marketing is a plus
- Copywriting and editing chops—you can write clear, compelling content without much handholding
- Hands-on proficiency with email campaign deployment, CRM management, audience segmentation, and registration platforms
- Comfortable with marketing automation systems, GA4, Canva or Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic HTML knowledge helpful; website content management experience required
- You're both a strategic thinker and a doer—equally comfortable setting direction and executing it yourself
- You handle complexity and competing priorities without losing focus or quality
- You lead with empathy and can develop and support a direct report effectively
- Strong collaborator who works well across global teams and time zones
