Medasource is seeking an Epic Project Manager to support a large-scale Epic implementation initiative. This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of implementation activities for various vendor applications, ensuring successful deployment and managing timelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to third-party application implementation and integrations within the Epic implementation program
- Coordinate activities between internal IT teams, Epic application teams, and external vendors
- Oversee third-party application implementation from initial vetting through test environment setup and go-live
- Track project progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple implementation workstreams
- Facilitate meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle
- Support planning and execution of testing phases, including system and integration testing
- Ensure proper documentation of project plans, milestones, and implementation activities
- Assist with issue resolution and escalation management to keep implementation efforts on schedule
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing large-scale Epic EHR & third party application implementations
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT workflows and system integration processes
- 10-15+ years of experience with oversight of the information systems lifecycle and implementation of small-scale to large-scale information systems projects and programs in a complex healthcare setting
- Experience with responsibilities including, but not limited to: Creating capital and operational budgets, impact summaries, coordination and communication on all project milestones and activities to all levels of management
- Development of project management related documentation, information system lifecycle documentation, and the setup and use of project management tools
- Coaching and mentoring project team members through the details and application of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closing projects, and the details of information systems lifecycle
- Leading all project and program management functions and personnel on multiple projects and programs
