Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to act as a subject matter expert for enterprise applications and partner with business and IT stakeholders. The role involves analyzing, enhancing, and automating business processes while managing ServiceNow SPM configurations and supporting project activities.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a subject matter expert for enterprise applications, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to analyze, enhance, and automate business processes
- Applies advanced business systems analysis expertise to resolve complex, multi‑faceted issues using creative and practical solutions
- Contributes to system functionality and process design by producing detailed functional specifications, process flows, and supporting documentation
- Serves as a ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) administrator
- Configures and maintains ServiceNow SPM workflows, forms, data models, reports, and dashboards to support portfolio governance, investment planning, and execution transparency
- Partners with IT BMO, Portfolio, Finance, and Delivery teams to ensure ServiceNow SPM aligns with enterprise portfolio processes, policies, and decision frameworks
- Translates portfolio and business requirements into ServiceNow SPM configurations while adhering to platform best practices and governance standards
- Supports data quality, reporting accuracy, and process adoption across ServiceNow SPM users
- Analyzes and documents functional requirements and business processes; determines priorities and leads development efforts for assigned initiatives or sub‑projects
- Leads and supports activities including: Stakeholder discovery sessions and requirements gathering, Drafting, reviewing, and obtaining approval of business and functional requirements documents, Providing guidance and oversight for systems integration test case preparation, Supporting Quality Assurance with functional and end‑to‑end validation, Coordinating and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Participates in pilot preparation and rollout activities: Establishes and documents rollout processes, Executes and fine‑tunes deployments during early adoption phases, Transitions ownership to support teams while remaining engaged as needed
- Works on problems of diverse scope requiring analysis of multiple identifiable factors; exercises sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and solutions
- Networks and collaborates with senior internal and external stakeholders within area of expertise
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced analysts or administrators on complex system, process, or platform‑related tasks
- Provides regular project and portfolio updates to leadership and stakeholders, including risks, dependencies, and impacts
- May escalate risks or issues to management as appropriate
- Reviews and complies with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (local, state, and federal)
- Supports audits, controls, and governance processes related to enterprise systems and portfolio management
- Assists with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
- Performs other duties as required to support organizational objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 5 – 8 years of related experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills required
- Strong organizational, project management, and process analysis skills are essential
- Must be able to lead virtual project teams across broad-based projects
- Advanced Degree desirable
