Staff PIC Test SW Dev Engineer

Nokia is a global leader in connectivity for the AI era. The Staff PIC Test SW Dev Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of test software, as well as test automation for the PIC Test Development team, ensuring rigorous testing and evaluation of integrated transceiver PICs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead PIC test SW architecture / infrastructure improvement and innovation
• Lead test station automation and hardware control SW development (e.g. vision system, electrical/optical probe positioning and calibration, test SW revision control, and so on)
• Lead SW migration between platforms (LabVIEW, Python, MatLab, C#, C++)
• Lead a small but creative SW team
• Mentor less SW experienced engineers or new hires in their work with the existing code base

Requirements:

• Master's degree
• Broad software and network skills for developing and maintaining test software
• Experience in test automation
• Lead PIC test SW architecture / infrastructure improvement and innovation
• Lead test station automation and hardware control SW development (e.g. vision system, electrical/optical probe positioning and calibration, test SW revision control, and so on)
• Lead SW migration between platforms (LabVIEW, Python, MatLab, C#, C++)
• Lead a small but creative SW team
• Mentor less SW experienced engineers or new hires in their work with the existing code base
• Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience and/or a graduate equivalent (or higher) degree
