THUNK is an early-stage mental wellness and self-reflection app focused on helping users better understand their thought patterns. They are seeking a motivated and thoughtful student for a Mobile Engineering Intern position to contribute to core product and user experience development while gaining exposure to startup workflows and software engineering mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- Improving onboarding and journaling flows
- Building and refining app features
- Designing and iterating on UX/UI experiences
- Working with Firebase backend systems
- Creating custom frontend components and interactions
- Improving usability and user flow clarity
- Helping shape product decisions and roadmap discussions
- Own or co-own a meaningful product initiative during the summer
Requirements:
- Motivated and thoughtful student interested in software engineering, product development, UX, and startups
- Ability to work closely with the founder
- Ability to receive technical guidance from a software engineer
- Participation in networking conversations with alumni from Princeton University
- Contribute to core product and user experience development for THUNK

- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related field
- Interest in software engineering and/or UX
- Familiarity with frontend development concepts
- Experience with personal projects, hackathons, clubs, research, or startups is a plus
- GitHub, portfolio, design work, or projects (optional but encouraged)
