Manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), Department of Navy security policies and other security activities for HII Mission Technologies, including document control, visitor control, personnel security, physical security, and interpretation/preparation/maintenance of prime and subcontract DD Form 254 for classified contracting.
Prepare, track, and monitor all security QMS documents to ensure document update timelines are met.
Provide weekly security status reports for the Key West Tactical Training Range (KWTTR).
Provide guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance, or act that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately.
Provide guidance and instruction to employees to ensure completion of security paperwork.
Conduct security training, briefings, and debriefings.
Manage, protect, and safeguard all classified materials (receive, control, route, store, mark, package, mail, and destroy all classified materials and their associated records).
Investigate and report all counterintelligence threats through NCIS and DCSA.
Investigate and report security violations and draft incident reports through the CDRL A012 reporting vehicle.
Maintain all records in compliance with NITE security manual A011 and subsequent work instructions.
Requirements
3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1-year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
Must currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Strong working knowledge of personnel security; classified information systems, classified contract management and contract security classification specification (DD254) preparation; physical security; insider threat program; counterterrorism and counterintelligence; administrative inquiries, etc.
Strong knowledge and use of DISS.
Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures.
Experience with COMSEC instructions.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
