execute the organization’s cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including architecture design, environment planning, integration, and ongoing operational support across GCP services
partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to evaluate existing systems and define fit-for-purpose solutions on GCP.
collaborate with product managers and developers to establish technical specifications for cloud-native applications, platform capabilities, and shared services
drive the deployment, scaling, and continuous improvement of GCP platform capabilities, including infrastructure provisioning, cloud management tooling, and automation
evaluate platform performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement enhancements to improve reliability, security, and cost efficiency
contribute to shaping platform engineering direction and influencing broader cloud strategy
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field OR equivalent experience (5+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering)
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or cloud-native solutions
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including core services such as compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and security
