Recruit, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Sales Engineers. Create a culture centered on accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and exceptional customer experience.
Coach Sales Engineers on discovery, product demonstrations, technical qualification, and customer communication. Help the team build confidence and consistency while supporting a high volume of opportunities.
Work closely with Commercial Sales leaders to improve pipeline progression, technical qualification, and overall deal execution. Build strong relationships with Account Executives and frontline sales managers.
Develop onboarding programs, playbooks, and repeatable operating rhythms that help early-career Sales Engineers ramp quickly and perform consistently.
Partner with Product, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Engineering to improve the customer experience and share feedback from the field.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS
2+ years of people leadership experience leading customer-facing technical teams
Experience supporting Commercial, SMB, or Mid-Market sales organizations
Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including networking, cloud security, identity, and vulnerability management
Passion for coaching and developing early-career technical talent
Excellent communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment
Ability to build repeatable processes that improve execution and team performance.
Ability to work from our Chicago office three days per week.
