As a Territory Sales Manager, you will develop new customer relationships and maintain existing accounts in the field of vacuum pumps and compressors.
Handling more complex customer inquiries in collaboration with the relevant technical departments, as well as introducing new products to increase sales, is an important part of this role.
Implement sales strategies and company objectives.
Independently manage and organize the sales territory.
Responsible for market penetration, business volume, and increasing market share.
Market monitoring and analysis.
Identify and communicate market, industry, and product requirements and trends.
Structured and goal-oriented acquisition of new customers.
Proactive technical and commercial on-site support for existing customers.
Market introduction of new products.
Result-oriented pricing and price negotiation/price enforcement according to guidelines and signing authority.
Sizing and selection of vacuum pumps and compressors.
Preparation and follow-up of quotations in close cooperation with the inside sales team.
Competitor monitoring.
Participation in weekly IDMs.
Diligent use of the CRM system Sales Force: leads and opportunity management, visit planning and reporting, etc.
Independent time and organizational management.
Efficient travel management for customer visits.
Requirements
Completed degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or alternatively: technical vocational training with solid professional experience, preferably in the field of vacuum pumps
Good knowledge of MS Office
Good written and spoken English skills
Driving license class B
Travel and work arrangements: High willingness to travel is required as part of the job.
