Conduct research on technology policy and regulatory developments across the Indo-Pacific, including AI governance, online safety, semiconductors, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital trade.
Draft read-aheads, briefing memos and talking points for senior BGA leadership ahead of client and prospect meetings.
Support the development of scopes of work, proposals and pitch materials.
Contribute to BGA's flagship regional research products, including the State of AI Policy report, the Online Safety Tracker, the AI-Generated Content Labelling Tracker, the Data Center Investment report and the Indo-Pacific Forecast.
Track legislative, regulatory and political developments across BGA's priority technology markets and synthesize implications for clients.
Attend Singapore-based industry briefings, events and association meetings; prepare readouts for the broader team.
Maintain and update Salesforce records, including contacts, account notes and engagement history.
Support the Tech BD team on internal coordination, including analyst huddles, weekly team call agendas and offsite logistics.
Requirements
Pursuing or holding a graduate degree in international affairs, public policy, public affairs, area studies, journalism or a related field; outstanding undergraduate candidates with equivalent experience considered.
Demonstrated interest in technology policy, the Indo-Pacific region and/or government affairs consulting.
Strong research, analytical and writing skills in English; proficiency in an Asian language is a plus.
Comfort managing multiple workstreams under deadline pressure.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and collegial; able to take direction from multiple stakeholders.
Authorization to work in Singapore required.
