Conducts energy analysis for projects at medium to large commercial and industrial facilities.
Writes technical reports summarizing results from energy assessments.
Conducts measurement and verification (M&V) site visits to establish facility energy usage patterns.
Communicates, coordinates, and assists project stakeholders and participants.
Delivers professional, high-quality services and builds rapport with utility customers.
Completes high-quality deliverables that demonstrate technical excellence, objectivity, and clarity.
Requirements
BS or MS degree, preferably in Mechanical, Energy, or similar Engineering.
At least 2-4 years of project experience or similar within the energy efficiency industry.
Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff.
Strong proficiency with oral communication, writing, and analytical skills.
Planning, organization, time, and self-management in a professional environment a must.
Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record and a personal vehicle to visit customer sites.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Ability to travel locally up to 20% as needed.
Understanding of energy savings opportunities for building energy using systems (lighting, HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration, process heating and cooling, etc.).
Familiarity with relevant energy efficiency codes and standards (e.g., IECC, Code of Federal Regulations, ASHRAE 90.1, etc.).
Previous relevant experience with success at managing multiple projects/programs, budgets, deliverables, and client relations.
On-track or desire to obtain one or more of the following certifications: P.E., C.E.M., C.B.C.P. (or similar), or C.E.A.
