Uses evidence-based counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to assist people in identifying and resolving personal, social, vocational, intrapersonal, and interpersonal concerns
Develops and implements client treatment plans based on mutually accepted goals
Adapts therapeutic approach to meet the needs of individual clients
Maintains confidentiality according to HIPAA, in addition to federal or state laws
Requirements
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in a behavioral science or related field.
Unrestricted, unencumbered licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Tennessee.
Experience assessing for mental health emergencies and coordination of care.
A minimum of 3 previous years’ experience working as Behavioral Health Therapist required.
