Role Overview
- Inspect materials and components received from suppliers and subcontractors
- Dimensional inspection
- Update control plans or create them according to the current template
- Analyze defects using quality methods (5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Propose corrective and remedial actions by working with different departments (Development, Production, Methods, Purchasing)
- Update the quality reference documentation (monitoring plans, inspection instructions)
- Verify conformity of internal production across the entire chain, up to qualification of complete systems
- Segregate non-conforming items
- Report on inspections
- Analyze defects and propose solutions
- Diagnose returned products as part of after-sales/service operations
- Participate in maintaining and improving the control plan internally and when deployed at suppliers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management or a related field (Licence professionnelle or equivalent)
- Previous significant experience in a comparable industry
- Good written and reading skills in English
- Proficient with inspection tools: caliper, micrometer, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
- Rigour, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills
- Technical knowledge in areas such as electronics, composite construction, or model making would be a strong asset for this role.
