Support the Procurement team in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
Develop, update, and maintain procurement plans; share updates with Project Managers as required.
Process and manage material orders through the client’s SAP system.
Coordinate resolution of material shortages, overages, and discrepancies.
Participate in weekly project meetings and provide clear updates on material availability, lead times, and inventory issues to support safe and timely field execution.
Facilitate purchasing of equipment and materials for multiple teams and projects.
Review vendor invoices for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Maintain electronic files and documentation using company file sharing systems.
Expedite materials and record all shipping/receiving activities to various job sites.
Requirements
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or a related field
2–4 years of experience in material coordination, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably supporting utility, construction, or infrastructure projects
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple material workflows in a fast‑paced environment
Familiarity with electronic document management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
Proactive problem‑solver with experience resolving procurement issues such as shortages or delays.
