Review, process, arrange, control, and optimize the production schedule to achieve on-time delivery for all customer orders.
Communicate with purchasing personnel regarding any raw material shortages that may impede the ability to fulfill a customer order.
Manage cut-ins and escalations.
Prepare, inform, and communicate with appropriate personnel about the production schedule.
Communicate promptly any changes for a proactive preview of the schedule with production personnel.
Communicate any production issues with the Customer Service team.
Communicate with Technical personnel when there is a rework or substitution required.
Update customers of any delays in delivery date.
Review daily reports and take appropriate actions.
Data entry and use of computer programs for data changes, inventory adjustments and closing out of orders.
Perform any other project/task as assigned by Management.
Requirements
Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Two (2) years' experience in scheduling in a manufacturing industry preferred.
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong computer/systems skills
MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
Familiarity of Spectrum, SAP and Workstation Basic is helpful.
Ability to manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events through organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
