Proactive outreach to journalists, editors and media contacts on behalf of the client's clients, including both high-volume pitch distribution and individually tailored pitches for priority placements
Drafting and sending press releases, pitch emails, media alerts and client updates to an agreed schedule
Building and maintaining media lists across target publications for each client, keeping contact records accurate and up to date
Managing client communication including regular update emails, coverage reports and responses to client queries
Monitoring press coverage for all assigned clients, compiling coverage reports and flagging notable placements to the senior team
Researching journalists, publications and editorial opportunities relevant to each client's campaign
Supporting the coordination of celebrity and brand partnership outreach under senior team direction
Administrative support including scheduling, file management and internal reporting
Submitting a daily end-of-day report to the senior team covering activity completed, coverage secured, pitches sent and any issues arising
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in public relations, communications or a closely related field
Experience with PR tools such as Cision, Muck Rack, Roxhill, Gorkana or equivalent media databases
Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software
Strong written English: clear, professional and adaptable across different tones and client voices
Experience with email-based media outreach and an understanding of how to pitch stories effectively to journalists
Comfort with high-volume, process-driven work alongside more tailored creative pitching
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously without prompting
