Researching, developing, producing and maintaining high‑quality, practical legal content.
Play an active role in building and strengthening relationships with lawyers across the APAC region.
Networking with practitioners, developing professional relationships with external contributors and advisers.
Acting as a point of connection between the Lexology PRO team and the APAC legal market.
Producing practical legal resources, including how‑to guides, checklists and summaries, to a high technical and editorial standard.
Actively supporting the expansion of Lexology PRO’s resources in APAC.
Acting as a key contact for external content suppliers and contributors.
Working closely with the content development team to refine, edit and publish resources.
Maintaining existing resources to ensure they remain accurate, current and commercially relevant.
Researching and scoping new content areas and frameworks in response to market developments and user needs.
Monitoring relevant legal, regulatory and market developments.
Liaising closely with the wider Lexology content team and other internal departments.
Providing additional legal research and support to the wider team as required.
Contributing ideas for new content, tools or features aimed at improving efficiency in lawyers’ workflows.
Working with sales and marketing colleagues to showcase new content and to feed customer insights back into content development.
Requirements
A qualified lawyer (qualification jurisdiction flexible) with approximately 3-5 years’ PQE, gained in private practice and/or in‑house
The right to work in Hong Kong, or eligibility to obtain a Hong Kong employment visa
Demonstrable experience working in, or closely with, the APAC legal market, either in private practice or in‑house
Strong, up-to-date knowledge of law and market practice in the APAC region, preferably in one or more of the following areas:
Compliance, including data privacy, competition/antitrust, white collar crime; anti-bribery and regulatory risk; corporate; commercial; financial services; capital markets; artificial intelligence, and the legal needs of start-ups and high-growth businesses.
Deep understanding of legal workflows and the practical needs of in‑house lawyers in particular, as well as private practice and the wider legal market
Previous Knowledge/PSL experience is desirable but not essential
Clear, concise and practical writing style
Excellent written English
Strong analytical and legal research skills, with the ability to identify and prioritise key information
Familiarity with online legal research tools, including AI‑enabled tools, preferred
Confident communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior lawyers
Self‑motivated and well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
A collaborative team player who is willing to prioritise team and organisational objectives
Commitment to developing your own expertise and professional skills
Keen attention to detail and high editorial standards
