Oversee all workshop activities, ensuring efficiency, quality and compliance with safety standards.
Manage work orders, communicate with customers regarding progress and changes, and contribute to the preparation of quotes.
Develop and implement processes to achieve operational and business objectives.
Track project costs, control expenditures against budget and recommend investments.
Mentor, train and engage the workshop team, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Stay informed of industry trends and propose improvements to processes and practices.
Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
Maintain clear communication with customers and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Promote the company's values and support community initiatives.
Perform any other related duties.

Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, electrical or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related industry; experience with Sandvik equipment is an asset.
Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve objectives.
Strong business acumen and ability to align operational goals with organizational objectives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant tools (Maximo, Power BI, Salesforce).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of rigor and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple assignments simultaneously.
Self-directed, proactive and demonstrated initiative.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
