Role Overview
- Perform analysis of material availability in the short, medium and long term to meet the projected production rhythm using a pull-based scheduling system.
- Schedule material receipts to maintain buffer/regulatory stock according to the needs of the material supermarket by issuing purchase requisitions.
- Monitor the daily progress of planned material deliveries, defining and checking delivery deadlines, delays, quality deviations and seeking solutions to meet the material delivery schedule.
- Calculate monthly projections for slow-moving items and shelf-life and make recommendations for depletion or disposition of materials with excess stock.
- Actively contribute in launch project cells with suggestions and recommendations aimed at reducing/eliminating material issues to enable on-time launches.
- Schedule and coordinate the sequence of material releases with Quality Assurance and the receipt of materials with the Warehouse.
- Update the master data for material codes used by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Solid experience in Materials Planning.
- Proficient in Excel and Power BI (intermediate level).
- Knowledge of SAP.
