About this role
Role Overview
- Provide thorough administrative assistance, including order entry and quotation generation
- Manage the full order lifecycle, including processing, modifications, and cancellations
- Monitor and resolve back-order statuses
- Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Engage in cross-training to support the Sales Support Manager
- Research products and nurture vendor relationships
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize needs and manage multiple workflows
- Collaborative spirit with a growth mindset
- Experience supporting inclusive environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite
- Experience with ERP and CRM software (SAP, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
- Background in the Packaged Gas/Welding Supply industry is a plus
