Leads end‑to‑end procurement delivery for assigned material categories, from project award through final project site delivery.
Accountable for team performance, delivery outcomes, and alignment of schedule critical procurement activities.
Manage a team of buyers, ensuring effective execution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Use strong schedule and critical path awareness to align procurement actions with construction sequencing and proactively mitigate delivery risk across a portfolio of concurrent EPC projects.
Serve as the primary execution interface with suppliers, overseeing PO execution, monitoring SLA performance, and serving as the primary escalation point for delivery, commercial, or quality issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
5 or more years of progressive experience in construction project delivery, procurement, or project engineering roles within utility-scale energy, heavy civil, or industrial construction required in addition to 2 to 3 years of leadership experience.
Direct experience managing long-lead material procurement on EPC projects strongly preferred.
Travel estimated at 15–25% (project sites, supplier facilities, Avon/Blattner campus).
