Role Overview
- Independently manage a portfolio of moderate to complex personal and commercial auto claims
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyze coverage and liability
- Evaluate damages and establish appropriate reserves
- Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
- Prepare and present claims to authority committees
- Draft reservation of rights and denial letters
- Document all activity accurately while delivering a high level of customer service
Requirements
- Proficiency with computers and current technology
- Prior experience handling large and complex claims
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field
- Associate in Claims designation
- CPCU coursework or other continuing education designation
- Licensed in all states
