About this role
Role Overview
- Development and enhancement of Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Design and implementation of Shopify apps using the Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL)
- Integration of third-party services and internal tools into Shopify environments
- Participation in the architecture and technical implementation of new features
- Code reviews, documentation, and close collaboration within a cross-functional team
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Shopify development (frontend & backend)
- Strong knowledge of Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React or Vue.js
- Experience with the Shopify CLI, Shopify Functions, and the Polaris design system
- Knowledge of Node.js or comparable backend technologies
- Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Careful, solution-oriented working style and team spirit
- Native-level German and good English skills
