LICSW, Bilingual in Spanish Required

Role Overview

• Advocate for patient needs through ongoing psychosocial needs assessments
• Collaborate with treatment team for appropriate inpatient disposition
• Identify barriers to discharge or treatment transitions
• Coordinate referrals and facilitate transitions in treatment
• Provide direct clinical therapeutic interventions to prevent relapse
• Educate patients and families on illness, recovery, and treatment options

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in social work required
• Current valid LICSW
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) required
• Knowledge of managed care
• De-escalation/restraint management techniques
• Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment techniques
• Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
