Coordinate the implementation phase of the Compliance Program and the Risk, Internal Controls and Compliance Management Policy, establishing methodologies and lines of defense
Design and operationalize risk-based verification/onboarding pipelines for Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Partner (KYP), Know Your Supplier (KYS) and Know Your Employee (KYE)
Map, calibrate and monitor transactional monitoring systems to identify atypical and suspicious transactions related to money laundering, fraud or terrorist financing; conduct in-depth analysis of transaction alerts and prepare dossiers for timely reporting of suspicious operations to COAF, the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) and the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM), ensuring strict process compliance
Manage the N5X Whistleblower Channel, ensuring confidentiality and protection against retaliation, and conduct or coordinate internal investigations into fraud, corruption or misconduct
Develop and deliver mandatory training for employees, the board and third parties focused on the Code of Ethics and Conduct, the Anti-Corruption Policy, the Gifts and Conflicts of Interest Policy and other company regulations
Design and operationalize the consultative workflow in which the Compliance area pre-approves and assesses regulatory compliance (BCB/CVM) of all new products, processes and significant hires before they go into operation, including measures to mitigate conflicts of interest
Prepare or support the preparation of critical reports for senior management and regulators, such as the Annual AML/CTF Report and the Annual Report on Risks, Internal Controls and Compliance, and monitor the execution of corrective action plans
Requirements
Specialized Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the regulatory framework for the financial and capital markets (especially BCB and CVM), AML/CTF legislation, anti-corruption laws and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO)
Critical and Investigative Analysis: Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data, cross-reference information in background checks, correlate atypical events and conduct investigations with impartiality and objectivity
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with senior management, draft clear executive and regulatory reports, and act as an effective ambassador for a culture of integrity
Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured manner and to proactively engage, follow up with and hold business areas accountable for implementing action plans and correcting non-conformities
Technology: Proficiency with corporate risk management systems and tools in MS Office and Google Workspace (primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields. Postgraduate studies or specialization in Compliance, Regulatory Law or Risk Management is a plus
Experience: Solid, proven experience in Compliance, Internal Controls or AML/CTF areas, preferably within financial market infrastructures, banks or institutions regulated by the CVM and BCB
Certifications: Professional certifications in Compliance or Anti-Money Laundering (such as CAMS, CFE, PQO Compliance or equivalents) are a plus
Language: Advanced/Fluent English (written and spoken)
