Provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks.
Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently.
Monitor network and telecommunications systems performance and respond to anomalies and issues according to defined procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) additional years of experience in Network Engineering disciplines may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) years’ experience as a Network Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Required Certification (possess and maintain one of the following): CompTIA Security+, MTA–IT Infrastructure, MCSA Desktop (Windows 7/8), or MCITP – Windows Client (Desktop Support/Admin) or equivalent approved by COR-T.
