About this role
Role Overview
Manage the full renewal lifecycle for all accounts: outreach, risk triage, negotiation, and close
Maintain a rolling 90-120 day renewal forecast; report weekly on pipeline health, risk, and expected outcomes
Develop a data-driven renewal strategy for each account
Lead commercial negotiations directly with customers
Drive price increases and multi-year structures at contract renewal
Build the renewals playbook from scratch
Own the KPI framework for renewals and establish reporting cadence
Partner with Finance on Available-to-Renew (ATR) tracking
Implement AI-assisted workflows for health scoring and renewal automation
Represent renewal risk in deal reviews and exec-level revenue conversations
Requirements
7+ years in SaaS renewals, customer success, or commercial account management
Experience building a renewals function or motion from scratch
Strong commercial negotiator, comfortable leading high-stakes conversations at the CFO or executive level
Analytically fluent with the ability to build a renewal forecast
CRM proficient; HubSpot preferred, Salesforce acceptable
Effective cross-functional operator who can influence Sales, Finance, and Legal
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment; prior people management experience preferred but not required
