Driving end‑to‑end sponsorship sales, from prospecting through to closing and post‑event review
Building and managing a portfolio of high‑value strategic accounts across tech and AI sectors
Leading and mentoring event sales reps across the NA/UK region through coaching and best‑practice frameworks
Overseeing day‑to‑day pipeline health, deal progression, and sales activity using CRM
Standardising sales processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and performance across the team
Partnering with event, marketing, and content teams to deliver compelling, market‑leading sponsorship propositions
Delivering post‑event reporting, sponsor debriefs, and internal performance insights
Contributing to quarterly and annual commercial planning and revenue strategy
Reviewing CRM performance daily, ensuring pipeline accuracy and strong activity levels across the team
Proactively addressing stalled deals, gaps in activity, and pipeline risks
Tracking and reporting on key metrics including revenue, pipeline coverage, deal velocity, and renewal rates
Driving accountability, discipline, and data‑led decision making across the sales function
Requirements
5+ years of proven success in event sponsorship, media sales, or B2B commercial roles, with experience managing high‑value deals and senior stakeholders
Experience mentoring or managing sales professionals, with a passion for coaching and building high‑performing teams
Strong track record of driving revenue growth, developing strategic accounts, and owning complex sales cycles
Experience working with technology, AI, or innovation‑led sectors is highly desirable
Confident engaging with senior decision‑makers and influencing both clients and internal stakeholders
Highly organised, with strong CRM discipline and a data‑driven approach to performance management
Ambitious, strategic, and hands‑on—equally comfortable closing deals and leading from the front
