Ensuring global six-sigma raw material availability to deliver 98% on-time performance to customers via operational buying, continuous improvement, and vendor management.
Daily management of demands from 6 manufacturing plants in the Greater Asia region and managing the purchases to replenish stock including monitoring, follow-up including inbound deliveries and resolving raw material shortages.
Liaise with the Local Supply chain planners / site supply chain managers to ensure a smooth and aligned day-to-day planning process.
Together with the procurement department, work with vendors to improve processes and performance. E.g. delivery schedules, mutual process improvement.
Optimization and continuous improvement of raw material availability, global inventory days, inventory write-off and obsolete/slow moving inventory.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives as the accountable person for Taste raw material planning.
Requirements
Bachelor/ Academic degree in logistics, supply management, operations management or relevant discipline
At least 4 years planning/operational buying experience
Strong understanding of MRP and / or related applications in managing demand and supply and the material flow through the supply chain.
Ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
