In your role as an Accounting & Finance Employee (all genders), you will be a central member of our Finance team working at least 20 hours per week.
You will independently handle accounting tasks such as preparing and posting invoices and supporting the preparation of annual financial statements.
You will also support the optimization of our financial processes and collaborate closely with Controlling.
Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for tax advisors and banks.
Financial accounting: You will manage ongoing bookkeeping, record accounts payable and receivable transactions, and post credit card statements, bank statements, and cash books.
Monthly and annual financial statements: You will support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and work closely with our Controlling team and external tax advisors.
Accounts receivable and payable management: You will be responsible for monitoring and processing payments as well as the dunning/collections process.
You will review and code incoming invoices and ensure timely payment.
Fixed assets accounting: You will maintain and manage the fixed asset ledger and ensure that all investments are recorded and depreciated correctly.
Process optimization: You will identify opportunities to improve existing processes and help make our financial workflows more efficient.
Internal and external contact: You will act as the point of contact for colleagues, the tax office, and auditors on all questions related to accounting and taxes.
Requirements
You have completed commercial vocational training (e.g., tax clerk) and ideally additional training in financial accounting or balance-sheet accounting (Bilanzbuchhaltung).
You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in Finance & Accounting, ideally in an agency environment.
Experience with SAP Business One (SAP B1) and/or DATEV is a plus, and you have strong Excel skills.
You work in a structured, proactive way and can prioritize even in stressful situations.
You are analytically strong and can communicate complex financial issues clearly.
