join our Renewable Integration team
primary responsibility to interconnect utility scale generation to Duke Energy's transmission system
manage multiple facets and solve complex issues related to the interconnection lifecycle
enhance skills, counterparty relationships
work with increased independence toward becoming a subject matter expert
prepare, execute, and enforce interconnection agreements
ensure compliance with the applicable FERC or state interconnection procedures
develop and maintain relationships with interconnection customers
manage generator interconnection requests through their lifecycle
ensure business goals and objectives are achieved
prepare thorough and accurate interconnection reports, contracts, and documentation
strive to continually improve interconnection business processes, procedures, and performance

Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or Other Related Degree
6 years related work experience
In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 6 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 9 year(s) related work experience
8 years related work experience for Lead Interconnection Account Manager
In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 8 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 12 year(s) related work experience
Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration (desired)
Professional Engineer and/or Project Management Professional (desired)
Experience preparing and managing contracts with 3rd parties (desired)
Working knowledge of FERC and/or State interconnection procedures (desired)
Electric utility experience working in transmission or distribution (desired)
