About this role
Role Overview
Strategic responsibility for the "Basic Metals" segment (steel, aluminum and copper industries), including further development of the national market position in close coordination with international subsidiaries and the holding company
Analysis of market trends, sales potential and competitors, and derivation of a future-oriented segment strategy and relevant growth areas
Development and adaptation of the product and service portfolio to local and global requirements
Promotion of cross-departmental exchange and international collaboration
Development of defined key accounts: establishment and further development of global partnerships, networks and international projects
Identification of market opportunities as well as the development and implementation of innovative product and sales concepts
Close coordination with international sites to implement strategic initiatives
End-to-end management of key accounts including commercial and technical responsibility as well as reporting
Requirements
Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in a commercial or technical field
Ideally, initial professional experience in the sales of technically or chemically complex products
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Strong communication skills, a confident and personable manner, and intercultural competence
High willingness to travel nationally
