Responsible for growing Steel Ropes Business in Asia North and SEA.
Support regional Commercial Director translate the overall long-term Steel Ropes segment strategies into an annual regional sales plan.
Ensure execution of the annual sales plan in terms of volume and margin.
Set-up commercial partnerships to accelerate growth.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and updates.
Build in depth product and application knowledge.
Monitor target market, customer priorities, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with regional sales team, technical, innovation, and Customer service Teams.
Work closely with Global Segment team and other regions BD managers to support each other develop business/market.
Travel is needed; up to 25% of the time you visit customers and prospects.
Requirements
Minimum of five years business development / marketing & sales experience in a B2B or B2C context, preferably but not necessarily in the Steel Ropes or manufacturing business.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Energetic “Hunter” type of commercial manager with “roll up sleeves” mentality.
Market and new customer development, market analysis skills.
A highly collaborative, enthusiastic manager with a proven track record of working in matrix organizations.
Strong character and personal integrity.
History of setting and achieving high standards of performance.
Attitude of “putting the customer in the heart of everything we do.”
University degree in engineering, commercial engineering or business management.
