Role Overview
What You'll Be Doing
Launch and grow Pear Tree's UK market from day one
Convert inbound opportunities into long-term client partnerships
Build relationships with founders, executives, and business owners across the UK
Identify and develop strategic partnerships and referral channels
Design scalable sales processes and a repeatable go-to-market strategy
Recruit, train, and lead future UK team members as the business grows
Represent Pear Tree within the UK business community
Note: this is not a recruiting or delivery role — your focus is commercial growth.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven track record in B2B sales or business development
Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and close deals independently
Experience managing both inbound pipelines and self-generated outbound activity
Background in building or scaling a sales function, team, or new market
Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by ownership
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Able to operate with high autonomy in a fast-growth environment
Based in the UK
