Championing the creation of standardized material to provide consistent messaging and narratives to selected target audiences.
Measuring the effectiveness of communications
striving to continually improve and act on results and feedback.
Actively managing, developing, and maintaining a range of communication channels (intranet, website, webinars, events, printed materials, videos, etc).
Producing content for regulatory business plans and key submissions, key stakeholder publications, independent groups, stakeholder newsletters, internal / external communications as required by the business.
Working with design and marketing agencies as required.
Collaborating with other Communications colleagues to ensure communications present a consistent picture and include a link back to an overarching message strategy for the business.
Creation of promotional media such as videos, leaflets and beyond to support our vision and position for internal and external purposes.
Supporting Project Director and Director with external facing materials as required supporting our position and key messages.
Continually seeking stakeholder feedback and commissioning research, analysing outputs and evaluating feedback from internal and external sources to support development and implementation of communication strategies for continual improvement.
Supporting the development of communication skills, knowledge and behaviours across the RIIO2 team and the wider business.
Requirements
Proven track record of developing and delivering complex internal and external communications strategies.
Ability to professionally design high quality materials for internal and external audiences.
Ability to provide present coherent written business documents for varied audiences.
Ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Professional qualification or equivalent role experience.
Experience of Project Management activities.
Evidence of strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
Computer literacy; track record of delivering results.
Must be a team player with a flexible attitude and good inter-personal skills.
Exceptional communication and influencing skills with internal/external stakeholders.
