About this role
Role Overview
Act as a technical lead for benefits, well-being and disability projects and programs;
Support the implementation of benefits plan changes;
Participate in disability management process updates and changes;
Triage service requests providing first-line support to employees;
Contribute and support ongoing projects, including presentations related to Benefits, Well-being and Disability Management;
Manage and support well-being communications and initiatives scheduled for the year.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Actuarial math, or a related field;
7 years experience in benefits, well-being and/or disability management administration or consulting;
Experience with Workday is an asset;
Bilingualism (English and French) is required;
A curious, solutions-focused mindset with a dedication to continuous improvement;
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent requests with excellent organizational skills;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Proven client service or customer service experience;
Strong ability to use Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
Demonstrated experience in well-being and disability management programs;
Experience working in a unionized environment as an HR professional (an asset);
Demonstrated discretion, empathy, and professionalism in handling sensitive information;
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
