Role Overview
- Manage a collaborative and dynamic team solving challenges in electric transmission
- Serve as Supervisor and Engineering Lead on various transmission line design projects
- Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other standards in engineering and design
- Prepare bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and material procurement and construction documents
- Develop an engineering team with direct report responsibilities
- Manage client relations, proposal development, scope creation, and project management
- Apply AI, automation, and digital design platforms for grid modernization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering
- 12+ years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems
- Professional Engineering Registration in at least one U.S. state or equivalent
- Experience with PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER, SAG10, LPILE and/or FAD, and Microsoft Office suite
- 5+ years of supervising staff (favorable if you have)
- M.S. degree in Structural Engineering (favorable if you have)
