Proactively handle Personal Umbrella Liability claims
Emphasize detailed investigation, evaluation, and monitoring of primary carrier activities
Investigate and analyze complex coverage issues
Provide clear and detailed coverage letters as necessary
Conduct timely and comprehensive investigations into liability and damages
Focus on effective resolution strategies, including timely liability investigations, damage assessments, and reserve setting
Ensure adherence to RLI's Best Practices in all claims handling activities

Requires a bachelor’s degree
8+ years of relevant legal or technical claims experience
Strong background in handling large exposure third-party liability claims on a primary/excess basis
Significant experience with policy limit demands in Florida, Texas, and California
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Proven ability to work effectively with primary carriers and defense counsel
In-depth knowledge of umbrella/excess handling and management of outside counsel
Extensive knowledge of case law, statutes, and procedures impacting liability claims in Florida, California, New York, and Texas
