Develop and implement category strategies for PCB and Discrete components to achieve business targets
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met
Analyze market trends and data to inform sourcing decisions and mitigate risks
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align category plans with product development and operational needs
Lead cost reduction initiatives, value engineering projects, and continuous improvement efforts within the category
Monitor and report on category performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership
Design and lead a responsive, agile and efficient team that has the ability to meet the changing and diverse needs of customers, enhance capability of supplier management to impact wider business objectives, deliver high-quality products with short lead times at low cost, demonstrate the knowledge and experience in Lean approach, effectively build strategic supplier partnerships
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
Minimum 15 years of experience in category management, procurement, or supply chain, with a focus on PCB and Discrete components
Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex supplier relationships
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
