About this role
Role Overview
Act as the main point of contact for employees and HR matters
Manage the full recruitment cycle
Process work permit applications
Manage onboarding for new employees
Oversee employee engagement and termination processes
Maintain accurate and updated HR records and employee files
Develop and draft HR policies and procedures
Submit employee information to the relevant authorities and departments
Liaise with the payroll team to ensure timely updates
Coordinate performance appraisals and support managers with KPIs
Conduct training needs analysis and coordinate internal and external training
Support employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and team events
Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics
Assist the HR Manager with employee complaints and conflict resolution
Requirements
A-Level + standard of education
1+ year of experience in a similar HR role
Good understanding of Maltese employment law and experience liaising with local entities
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Benefits
