Advise regulated and non-regulated clients on legal and regulatory obligations, including company law, commercial law, regulated industries, AML/CFT, IP law, and data privacy law
Assist in the day-to-day planning and management of client activities and obligations imposed by local authorities
Draft, review, and negotiate legal instruments
Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations affecting your client portfolio
Identify market and regulatory trends to support professional development
Assist in developing training for clients and internal staff on systems and procedures
Requirements
1+ years of experience in a similar role within the advisory space
Doctor of Laws and/or Master of Advocacy degree (or equivalent)
Holds a valid warrant to practice as an advocate in Malta (non-negotiable)
Fluency in English at C2 or native level, both written and spoken
Knowledge of laws related to CSPs, trusts and trustees, the MGA, and the MFSA
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills when dealing with clients from various jurisdictions and industries
Highly organised, self-driven, and able to work independently
