Own technical pre-sales engagement with European customers across satellite and defence segments, from first qualification call through to signed licence.
Lead technical discovery: understand customer PHY requirements (waveforms, OBP selection, throughput, latency, target silicon/FPGA family), identify the right AccelerComm product configuration, and articulate the value proposition against build-it-yourself or alternatives.
Coordinate and draft commercial proposals end-to-end incl. scoping, deliverables, licensing model (object code, source code, evaluation), support terms, milestones etc. coordinating with engineering & CTO on technical content and with the CCO on pricing and commercial structure.
Develop and defend pricing in conjunction with the CCO, applying AccelerComm's licensing methodology to each opportunity.
Run technical workshops and proof-of-concept / evaluation engagements.
Assist in maintaining a qualified European pipeline in CRM system with accurate forecasting.
Represent AccelerComm at European industry events (MWC, WSBW, SmallSat conferences on NTN and defence comms).
Requirements
8+ years in technical sales, applications engineering, or product management in semiconductor IP, wireless infrastructure, or baseband silicon.
Strong working knowledge of 5G NR physical layer incl. channel coding (LDPC, Polar), modulation, MIMO, numerology, and the 3GPP standards process.
Hands-on familiarity with FPGA implementation flows (Xilinx/AMD, Intel/Altera) and ASIC development cycles, including an understanding of resource budgets, timing closure, and the trade-offs customers face at each target node.
Demonstrated ability to draft commercial proposals and licence terms for complex IP transactions with major customers.
Comfortable engaging with both engineering leadership (CTO, Chief Engineer, lead architects) and commercial decision-makers (CPO, CFO, CCO).
Fluent English; additional European languages (German, French, Spanish) an advantage.
Exposure to NTN / satellite communications, defence comms, or O-RAN.
Experience selling collaboratively with Tier 1 satellite network operators or satellite payload integrators.
Prior commercial exposure to IP licensing dynamics.
