Clinical Research Coordinator

Role Overview

• coordinating psychometric study visits
• administering cognitive testing to research participants
• coordinating biomarker visits including blood draws, MRIs, and lumbar punctures
• engaging in data collection
• coordinating other aspects of study execution
• ensuring participants follow the research protocol
• alerting Principal Investigator of issues
• managing supply and equipment inventory levels
• recruiting, screening, selecting, determining eligibility, and enrolling trial participants
• collecting more complex information, performing medical assessments, and answering varied questions under supervision of a medically licensed professional
• scheduling logistics, determining workflows, and securing resources for clinical research trials
• contributing to the development of protocols

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in human-subject research or health care setting.
• Previous work experience in customer service
• Previous work experience with individuals with cognitive decline
• Previous work experience with older adults
• Experience with imaging, biomarkers, and/or psychometric testing desired, but not required. Training provided.
• Bachelor Degree preferred; Focus of study in a relevant field such as, but not limited to, biological sciences, psychology, sociology, social work, or health care-related field is preferred.
