About this role
Role Overview
- Lead and support detailed technical discussions with data center customers to define opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions
- Manage a global team of application engineers
- Understand technology trends to support customer road maps
- Provide guidance to product development, Core R&D and marketing
- Influence and guide development and R&D to accelerate product development
- Establish strong relationships with customers and throughout the data center industry
- Drive new product evaluations at data center customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of hands-on experience in Data Center infrastructure, either operations or networking and interconnects in a private, public, government or military environment
- Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field from an accredited institution (additional qualification)
- Five (5) years of management experience in a private, public, government or military environment (additional qualification)
- Strong technical knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, network Infrastructure and connectivity
- Strong understanding of the Data Center industry mindset, pace and customer culture
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
