Develop high-quality digital training content, including video tutorials, product demos, installation guides, and certification modules.
Serve as the on-camera subject matter expert for Control iD and electronic access control solutions, translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging instruction.
Design structured training programs for integrators, dealers, and internal sales/technical teams across North America.
Collaborate with product management, marketing, and engineering to ensure content accuracy and alignment with product strategy.
Create and maintain training documentation, scripts, storyboards, and supporting materials for e-learning platforms.
Deliver live and virtual training sessions, webinars, and workshops as needed.
Support product launches with targeted training content that accelerates adoption and reduces support burden.
Continuously evaluate and improve training effectiveness using feedback, analytics, and field insights.
Requirements
3–7+ years of experience in technical training, product education, or field applications engineering within electronic access control or physical security.
Strong knowledge of access control systems, including credentials, readers, controllers, and software platforms (cloud and on-prem).
Demonstrated experience creating video-based training content (recording, scripting, editing, and publishing).
Comfortable presenting on camera with clear, confident communication skills.
Familiarity with tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar video production platforms.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences (installers, IT professionals, sales teams).
Experience working with cross-functional teams in product-driven organizations.
Experience with Control iD products or similar biometric and IP-based access control solutions (preferred).
Knowledge of low-voltage installation practices, networking fundamentals, and mobile credential technologies (preferred).
Background in instructional design or e-learning development (LMS platforms, SCORM modules, etc.) (preferred).
Bilingual (English/Spanish or Portuguese) is a plus.
